Marblehead Luxe

We have a very special client in Marblehead who asked for a warm & inviting living room in which to entertain family and guests when they return home from their frequent travels over land & sea. A favorite rug sets the tone & plays off the rich satin glow of ribbon stripe Mahogany walls. The sofas are re-upholstered in a buttery faille, and traditional flame stitch pillows reinforce the colors found in the artwork. The soft leather ottoman does double duty as cocktail table and by grounding the room. The chairs are covered in a soft woven Suzani print that coordinates with the rug, sofa, and art. The window treatments frame the room in a golden Schumacher stripe, and draw the eye outdoors to the glorious view of pool house and grounds. All told, this Marblehead living room is a sumptuous AND cozy environ for the many memorable times ahead.
